Hi! I'm Kathryn the owner, creator and mastermind behind Bumblebugs Photography. My business is founded on 3 fundamental things. Trust, affordability and quality. Without these three things, there would be no Bumblebugs. I have lived and breathed photography since I was 16 when I studied A-level photography at Barnsley College (spoiler alert I wasn't very good!) but over the past 15 years, I have worked hard, studied my craft and built my business.
I have gained vital knowledge and experience. worked with babies just a few days old, all the way to great-great-grandparents! I've also had the honour of covering some of the most special days of my client's lives, such as weddings and events all over the Yorkshire area. I’ve also become a mum to two amazing boys who inspire me every single day. It's not been easy, but I'm now happy in my own studio space creating memories for hundreds of families across South Yorkshire

I cannot recommend Bumblebugs enough and we will definitely be using Kathryn again in the future. She was very friendly, flexible, patient with our 2 week old but most importantly got some amazing photos of him. She listened to our requests and suggested some ideas of her own which were visually stunning. The photos are beautiful, well framed/lit, she is clearly very good at her job and also passionate about photography. I would not hesitate in recommending her to others.

Bumblebugs was recommended to me by a friend after the newborn session I'd had booked for months was cancelled at short notice, my baby was almost 3 weeks old and I was so upset thinking we wouldn't get any of the lovely newborn photos I wanted. Kat fit us in at very short notice and was so lovely, she was really good with my baby girl and so patient to settle her and get some absolutely beautiful photos, they were so good we bought the entire gallery! Kat then personally delivered our prints and usb, she really does go the extra mile and we can't thank her enough. We'll definitely be back for another shoot for Hallie's first birthday 🙂

I had a bump to baby photoshoot. Kat made me feel very comfortable and confident while having my maternity shoot. And she was amazing with Scarlett and very patient when as babies do she needed feeding and bum changing ect. We did a family photo shoot here and Kathryn (the owner) was AMAZING at getting my kids to relax, have fun and smile in a natural way. That is no easy feat! Every picture I've taken looks forced but the ones she did for us here look so natural and candid.
